A few years ago my humans came to Augusta Georgia to race in the Masters Nationals Road Race Cycling Championship. This year we were heading down to Clermont Florida for a cycling camp and he decided to pull onto Fort Gordon and go for a ride. The Leitner Lake Recreation Complex is on Fort Gordon and about 7 miles from the Exchange and Commissary.
The location is beautiful. The lots are spacious especially for a little guy like me and extremely quiet. We were only going to be there overnight so my driver really didn’t check out the amenities. However, this will definitely be a place we will frequent due to price and an awesome 12-mile bike route on Range Road.
